Also, the country will host the VII Congress of Teachers and Educators of the NIC Member States.

This decision was unanimously adopted following the meeting of the Council for Cooperation in the Field of Education of the NIS countries, which took place this year in Armenia. It was attended by members of the Council from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee and invited persons. Kazakhstan was represented by the Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulzat Kobenova.

During the discussion, the member countries of the Council noted the work of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the system of higher and secondary education: the introduction of new educational programs, the adoption of legislative norms to ensure academic integrity, an unprecedented increase in teachers’ salaries, work to improve the qualifications of personnel in the education system, as well as to improve legislative norms for the use of digital technologies in the educational process.

“19 issues were discussed at the meeting. The Council approved interstate programs and plans for the cooperation of the participating countries in the field of education. Now the states will strengthen work in terms of the exchange of students and scientific and pedagogical workers, expand cooperation between universities, and conclude interstate cooperation programs in the field of education. It was also decided to expand the range of interstate information exchange using Internet resources, to hold joint activities to promote educational programs, ”said Gulzat Kobenova, Chair of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science.

The theme of the VII Congress of Teachers and Educators of the NIC Member States, which will be held in Kazakhstan, will be devoted to the new reality and transformation of the educational process in the post-pandemic period.
