On the eve of Independence Day State awards were presented to the residents of Almaty region
65 state awards and 7 titles “Honorary resident of Almaty region” were presented today by akim of the region Amandyk Batalov at the solemn meeting in honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held in the Sports Palace “Zhastar”, Taldykorgan. Among the winners of the award are the legendary sportsman, well-known patron and businessman Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov, who was awarded the title of “Kazakhstan Yenbek Yeri” and the cosmonaut, Major General of the Air Force of Kazakhstan, Halyk-Kaharmany Aydin Aimbetov, who became “Honorary Citizen of Almaty region”, the press service of the akim Almaty region informs.
Speaking at the event with congratulatory speech akim of the region Amandyk Batalov said:
Dear participants of the meeting, this year our country celebrates the 26th anniversary of the independence. This is a fairly short period of time from a historical point of view. But during this period our country was held as a new state with a dynamically developing economy and broad prospects of growth. Thanks to the positive changes that have taken place during the years of Independence, Kazakhstan has received universal international recognition. And every achievement is inextricably linked with the name of the First President – the Leader of Nation, Nursultan Nazarbayev . Today our country continues to develop successfully, carries out democratic reforms, each of which is primarily aimed at improving the well-being of citizens, said A.Batalov.
Further, the head of the region stressed that his contribution to the development of the country is made also by the Almaty region. Thus, the share of the manufacturing sector reached 85%, and this is one of the highest in the country. With a 17% share in gross agricultural output, the region is on the first place in the republic. Also A.Batalov said that thanks to state support this year 133 educational facilities were put into operation in the region, including 27 schools and 96 private kindergartens.
In the words of our President: “Most importantly, we have built an independent state based on peace and harmony. We were formed as one nation looking to the future. We created a new society, committed to universal human values. ” I am confident that successfully carrying out the tasks set by the Head of State, the people of the region will continue to make a significant contribution to the development of our country. With all my heart I wish everyone good health, prosperity, happiness, new successes in all endeavors for the benefit of our Motherland. And let our independent Kazakhstan flourish and flourish! – summed up A. Batalov, having held a ceremony of rewarding the residents of the region for outstanding achievements in the economic, social and humanitarian development of the country.
The best employees of industry, agrarian sphere, public health services, education, entrepreneurship, sports and social services were awarded with the marks of distinction. For many years of conscientious and fruitful work, they were awarded with the orders “Parasat”, “Krmet”, “Yekbek daky” III degree, medals “Erebegi Ushin”, “Shapahat”, Diplomas of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the title “Honorary citizen of Almaty region”. The highest distinction was awarded to the legendary sportsman, Olympic champion, well-known patron and businessman Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov, whose award was awarded today in Astana.
The director of LLP “Nusipov and K” Kanatkhan Nusipov and the general director of the poultry farm “Sary Almaty” Dmitry Chalykh spoke on behalf of the awardees with a congratulatory word.
