The Head of State congratulated the People’s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurzhuman Ikhtymbayev on the anniversary
On May 14, People’s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the USSR State Prize Nurzhuman Ikhtymbaev celebrated his 80th anniversary. The actor was congratulated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev. “… Our compatriots know and respect you well as a people’s artist who has his own unique style in the art of cinema. For more than half a century, you have starred in two hundred films, masterfully performing complex and completely different roles. Domestic and foreign filmmakers and critics always highly appreciate your talent. You have made a great contribution to the spiritual and cultural development of the country. I wish you good health, long life and family well-being, ” is said in the head of state’s congratulations.
In Almaty, the hero of the day was honored at the State Center for the Support of National Cinema, where Nurzhuman Bayzhumanovich met with his friends, colleagues and students. Opening the meeting, the presenters read out a festive congratulation on behalf of the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aktota Raimkulova. The event itself took place in the legendary Almaty hotel, near which a monument to the outstanding film director Shaken Aimanov was erected, whom Nurzhuman Bayzhumanovich himself considers his teacher. Famous cinema figures came to congratulate the hero of the day together with the leadership of the Cinema Center: People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, actor and film director Doskhan Zholzhaksynov; Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, loved by many generations of viewers, Tamara Kosubayeva; honored worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, film director and producer Rustem Abdrashov and many others.
According to a good tradition, the hero of the day was given a chapan and a dombra – it is known that Nurzhuman Ikhtymbaev sings and plays the dombra beautifully. The hero of the day immediately played a melody on his favorite musical instrument.
