Performance “No exit”
Independent International Theater “THEATER 11” (Germany)
and “Black Burka” of the Kazakh State Academic Theater
for children and youth to them. G.Musrepov
within the framework of the II World Theater Festival “Astana”
Independent international theater “THEATER 11” (Germany) on June 25, 2018 at 15.00 on the stage of the Kazakh musical and drama theater named after K. Kuanyshbaev will present the current and modern interpretation of the play “No exit” by Jean-Paul Sartre. “THEATER 11” is a laureate of the theater festivals “Young Talents” (Hannover), “Parallel Worlds” (Belarus). Multiple winner of state prizes for cultural work and youth integration.
Within the framework of the II World Theater Festival “Astana”, the director K.Petrova will show an unusual drama, where a mysterious servant leads three people into the room: the rich Estelle, the postal worker Innes, and also the journalist Garcen, and locks them there, leaving no hope of getting out. The performance “No exit” of the Bremen Theater “THEATER 11” brings the viewer to the main problem of today’s society: what makes us endlessly hurt others? Why can not you transform yourself and overcome your vices?
Also on this day at 19.00 in the Palace of Peace and Harmony will be staging the play “Black Burka”. This performance is a visiting card of the Kazakh State Academic Theater for Children and Youth named after. G.Musrepov. The work “The Black Burka” by the Ossetian playwright G. Khugaev, directed by A.Maemirov is a parable about duty and loyalty, about honor and love, about betrayal and friendship. The value of the play “Black Burka” is that it gives food for thought about universal values.
Professional theater experts and critics will attend the performance: Asanali Ashimov (Kazakhstan), Jonas Vaitkus (Lithuania), David Asatiani (France), Beatrice Picon-Wallen (France), David Papava (Great Britain).
