“The development of the Industrial Zone is one of the priority areas in the work of the akimat.

Three Almaty enterprises, which launched their production on the territory of the Industrial Zone, are fully commissioned and cover the city’s demand for products. Already now Almaty residents purchase cartridges of local manufacture “DOC Co.LTD”, paper containers for mixtures “Almapack Co.LTD” and fresh vegetables of a greenhouse complex “BRB APK”. The enterprises produced products worth KZT 3.2 billion, paid KZT 107 million to the city budget and created 252 new jobs since the launch. Thanks to the already launched 3 objects and additionally introduced 12 projects by the end of 2018, the amount of taxes will exceed 1 billion tenge.
“The development of the Industrial Zone is one of the priority areas in the work of the akimat. Large-scale work on the development of industrial zone gives its results. For example, this year we plan to complete the construction of infrastructure by 62%, and in 2019 – completely. By the time we plan to implement 22 investment projects taking into account completed, “- said the head of the monitoring department of industrial enterprises Rustem Voroshilov.
By the way, in 2016 IZA was provided with infrastructure by 25%, and in 2017 – by 40%. ”
Favorable business conditions and almost complete infrastructure readiness arouse great interest in IZA from foreign and Kazakhstan investors. Last year, the number of appeals increased 3-fold compared to 2016. Investors are attracted by the fact that with the help of the business support card, the admirers for issuing and receiving permits have been reduced. In addition, all similar enterprises are located in the same cluster sector IZA. Also, on the instructions of the akim of the city B.Baibek, a working group and a management company of Industrial Zone LLP were set up whose task is to work with each investor to support and provide maximum assistance in accelerating the implementation of the project.
Now IZA has 70 hectares of free land. And more than 200 hectares of land have already been allocated to business entities for the implementation of investment projects.
