Medical organizations were bypassed in Nur-Sultan


The Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov, Vice Minister of Health Azhar Giniyat, Deputy Mayor of Nur-Sultan Baktiyar Maken and Head of IC Pharmacy Yerkhat Iskaliyev visited a number of medical organizations in the capital. The purpose of the visits is to monitor the implementation of the instructions of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the implementation of operational measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
The first point was City Polyclinic No. 9, which is designed for 500 visits per day. More than 95.6 thousand city residents are now attached to it, 62 medical stations are functioning, 5 ambulance teams and 5 mobile teams are working. More than 200 online consultations are held here every day and an average of 40 visits of mobile teams are carried out.

During the tour, the participants got acquainted with the working conditions of medical workers, checked the availability of the necessary equipment for remote consultations and online consultations. The commissions demonstrated the process of issuing referrals and electronic prescriptions for medicines. Also, a filter for receiving and providing medical care to patients who applied to the clinic was examined.

The next object of the visit was the City Ambulance Station. On its basis, the Operational Headquarters functions for monitoring the epidemiological situation and making operational decisions on the distribution of the flow of patients for hospitalization in infectious diseases and provisional hospitals.

The operational headquarters has organized a chatbot, in which about 140 calls are processed daily, more than 5 thousand consultations were provided through the contact center over the past month, and over the last day – 211 consultations.

70 ambulance crews go to work every day; on average, up to 1.5 thousand calls are served per day. As noted, before quarantine, the number of calls reached up to 3 thousand per day, but over the past three weeks, there has been a steady decline.

Also, Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov visited the 600-bed multidisciplinary City Hospital No. 2, where a wide profile of emergency and planned medical care is provided, including to pregnant women and women in labor. During the round, an emergency room with an established triage system and an intensive care unit were examined. The visit to the hospital was carried out in protective suits, and the participants noted the inconvenience that medical workers have to experience.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the medical workers for their daily selfless work, wished them health and steadfastness of the professional spirit.
