IGC Co-Chairs synchronized watches on economic cooperation

In the format of a videoconference, a meeting was held between two co-chairs of the Kazakh-French intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation – the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov and the Minister-Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness under the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Frank Riester.

The negotiations, which took place with the participation of representatives of authorized state bodies and organizations, became a good opportunity to discuss the current state of issues of economic cooperation in the fields of uranium mining, transport, aerospace and healthcare. These topics were raised at the last meeting of the IGC and F. Riester’s visit to Kazakhstan in May this year, during which the Roadmap for Economic Cooperation until 2030 was signed. Following the videoconference, the ministers noted the importance of regular meetings to monitor the proper progress of projects.
