Electric scooter rental platform launched in Nur-Sultan city
A platform for renting electric scooters for guests and residents of the capital has been launched in the capital. It should be noted that this is the first scooter rental platform that appeared in the capital. This is a joint project of Astana Invest GCRI LLP and Jet Kazakhstan. The principle of operation is that any citizen can take a scooter at a stationary station, drive to the desired address and leave the transport at any station that is nearby. In order to use the electric scooter, you need to download the JET mobile application, register with a phone number, link a bank card for payment, select a scooter, scan a QR code, select a suitable tariff and start a trip. At the moment, there are more than 60 places in the city where you can take or leave a scooter, which are located on the left and right banks.
The data on the location of electric scooters and the state of charge can be found in the JET app. Also, it is possible to book the selected scooter completely free of charge. Currently, 100 scooters have been launched in the city and it is planned to increase the number to 1000 electric scooters.
