On December 9, 2016 at 15.00 in the State Museum of Arts. after A. Kasteev the presentation of an art album, “Dynasty of artists Sidorkina-Ismailova” will take place/ The idea of the preparation and production of this book, which is intended as the first of the series “Dynasty of artists”, belongs to the director of the National Library in Almaty Zhanat Seidumanov.
Creativity of Eugene Sidorkin and Gulfairus Ismailova are very popular and in demand, and is written a lot, but it continues to attract the attention of famous museums, private galleries, art critics, art lovers, collectors and journalists. In Almaty and Astana, in public museums and private galleries all over again hosts exhibitions of works of classics of the Kazakh painting and drawing.
The State Museum of Arts. after Kasteev contains the most complete collection of works by Eugene Sidorkina and Gulfairus Ismailova, a triptych of the artist with the portraits of Shara Shienkulova, Kuliash Baiseitova and Sholpan Dzhandarbekova on display in the center of the hall of the fine arts of Kazakhstan. In the footsteps of their parents and their son went to Vadim Sidorkin, becoming a famous artist. His work “Nevada-Semipalatinsk” (1989), also exhibited in the third room of the Museum of Fine Arts .
Artistic album is the best of the classics of Kazakh painting and drawing. The illustration to the novel of Mukhtar Auezov “The way of Abai” by Eugene Sidorkin, illustrations for the series “Reading Saken Seifullin”, illustrations for the series “Kazakh epos”, autolithographies “Kokpar”, “From time immemorial”, autolithographies of “Elders” series and others. Evgeny Matveevich is the People’s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize. Ciocan Valikhanov, won a bronze and a gold medal in Leipzig, the prize and gold medal of the International Biennial in Krakow, exhibitions diplomas in Venice and Budapest.
Section Gulfairus Ismailova includes such masterpieces of Kazakh art, like the portraits of prominent figures of culture of Kazakhstan Kuliash Baiseitova, Shara Shienkulova, Sholpan Dzhandarbekova, Abylkhan Kasteev, Bibigul Tulegenova and other self-portraits of the artist, still lifes and unique theatrical sketches. Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Abaya in Almaty to which artist devoted many years, she has issued about 30 plays and was also the chief artist of the theater.
The contemporary images from the world of art and especially Opera attracts renowned contemporary artist Vadim Sidorkin. In the album we are introduced to his portraits Nurzhamal Usenbayeva, Bakhyt Nurgozhaeva and others, as well as the way of the legendary ruler of ancient Tomiris. Dynasty Sidorkina-Ismailov left an indelible mark in the fine arts of Kazakhstan.
