Wimbledon winner Rybakina will give her winnings to Kazakhstan children

The winner of the most prestigious tennis tournament, Wimbledon 2022, Elena Rybakina, said that she would donate all the money she won to charity – to Kazakhstani children. Recall that the Russian tennis player moved to Kazakhstan in 2018 and changed her sports citizenship. Therefore, she was allowed to participate in the prestigious tournament.
“We wanted to financially encourage Elena, but she refused, moreover, she wants to donate a share of the prize money to charity and support juniors in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” Match TV quotes Vice President of the Kazakhstan Federation Yuri Polsky.
