Meeting with the President of Mongolia Haltmaagiin Battulgoi

On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on his own behalf, the Head of the State congratulated Haltmaagiin Battulgu with the victory in the presidential elections and expressed the readiness of the Kazakh side to develop cooperation in all directions.
– This year marks the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Friendly Relations and Cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Mongolia. This document plays an important role in the consistent development of relations between our countries that have centuries-old traditions of friendship and good-neighborliness, “said the President of Kazakhstan.
In turn, Haltmaagiin Battulga thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for his congratulations on his election to the post of President of Mongolia, and also on the occasion of his birthday.
– I closely watch your work and know that you have created a new capital – Astana. I studied Kazakhstan’s experience a lot while I was Minister of Construction of Mongolia. We are also studying the possibility of building the city of Mytar near Ulan Bator near our capital, “said the President of Mongolia.
In conclusion, the Head of State noted that, first of all, it is necessary to raise the level of cooperation between the two countries to a new level, and also stressed that Kazakhstan supports Mongolia’s desire to participate in the work of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
