30 September 2016 Kazakhstan President Nursultan nazarbayev had a meeting with the Board Chairman of ‘National Company Astana EXPO-2017’ JSC Akhmetzhan Yessimov
At the meeting Akhmetzhan Yessimov informed the President on the preparations for EXPO-2017 international exhibition.
The Board Chairman of ‘National Company Astana EXPO-2017’ JSC also said that the construction works are carried out in accordance with the schedule and will be completed until the end of the year. The month of October is the start for transferring pavilions to international participants and housing to delegation members.
Also, Akhmetzhan Esimov noted that participation in the exhibition have been confirmed by 103 countries and 17 international organizations. 98 section commissioners have been appointed. 82 Contracts of participation have been endorsed by countries, including international organizations. Dates for National Days are booked by 61 states.
