On September 28, 2016 the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met the Honorary senior minister, the member of Parliament of Singapore Guo Chuok Tong
Nursultan Nazarbayev and Guo Chuok Tong have expressed confidence in further strengthening of the bilateral relations between two countries.
The head of state has emphasized the value of experience of Singapore in innovative, technological and financial spheres.
– Within 25 years of our independence we maintain the close relations with Singapore and always considered your country as a peculiar reference point. In spite of the fact that Singapore is the city-state, it became an example of effective model of development for many countries of the world. Our ways of creation of statehood are in many respects similar. In this regard, during the developing and implementation of various programs and strategy, we study experience of your country with special attention, – the President of Kazakhstan has told.
In turn Guo Chuok Tong thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for the invitation to visit Kazakhstan and the extended warm welcome.
– Iam for the first time in your country and impressed with dynamics of its development. I am very glad that between our states there are strong partner links. Now all key directions of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Singapore are defined, – Guo Chuok Tong has told.
Questions of bilateral cooperation in various branches of economy have been discussed in details at a meeting.
