In Haikou held the 2nd “China – Central Asia”Forum
On November 25, 2016 Ambassador of Kazakhstan to China Shahrat Nuryshev at the invitation of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (Shoji) and the People’s Government of Hainan Province of China visited the city of Haikou, and participated in the 2nd Forum of China and the Central Asian Cooperation on “Development in the spirit Silk Road and the promotion of mutually beneficial cooperation. ”

In his speech S. Nuryshev spoke about the current state of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the light of the interface of the new economic policy “Nurly Zhol” and the Economic Belt of the Silk Road (EPSHP).
The Ambassador congratulated the participants with the upcoming 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries of Central Asia and China. He drew attention to the initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan, aimed to create the Joint Eurasian economic space through closer cooperation between the SCO, EAEC and EPSHP.
In order to promote initiatives for the formation of the Eurasian transit and transport hub he asked to actively use existing rail routes through Kazakhstan to Europe, the Gulf and Asia-Pacific, “Western Europe – Western China” ICBC “Khorgos”, FEZ “Khorgos-Eastern goal” international road corridor.
He noted that “the development of transit-transport potential of all the countries of Central Asia and diversify their export routes to the markets of the Asia-Pacific region will contribute to the utilization of the Kazakh-Chinese terminal at the port of Lianyungang.
In the light of the forthcoming the 28th Winter Universiade in Kazakhstan, the International specialized exhibition “EXPO-2017” and the year of China’s tourism in Kazakhstan Ambassador invited the forum participants to visit Kazakhstan.
Governor of Hainan Province, Liu Tsyguy noted the high level of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the region. “At the present time between the cities of Almaty and Sanya operates a regular flight. This can be the basis for further expansion of transit and passenger traffic with Central Asian countries. Our cooperation with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in the sphere of trade and investment is a good example, including the energy, chemical industry, mining and agricultural industries. We hope to take advantage of the initiative “One belt one way” to strengthen cooperation “, – said the governor.
The Forum also held “Subforums” Cooperation in the field of agriculture and tourism, in which entrepreneurs of participating countries discussed the prospects of cooperation activities.
