This year in the Almaty region will be built 111 police precincts, combined with housing
In Almaty oblast, construction of 66 precinct police stations, combined with housing, has been completed. This year, 111 more such facilities will be built. This was announced today during the meeting on the results of operational activities of the Department of Internal Affairs of the region for 2017 under the chairmanship of the first deputy akim of the region Lazzat Turlashov, the press service of the akim of Almaty region reports.
The main report on the results of the work carried out and plans for the current year was made by the head of the Department of Internal Affairs, Major-General Murat Urumkhanov.
According to the speaker, the state of the operational situation in the region is under constant control. During the reporting period, the crime rate decreased from 137 to 126 per ten thousand population, on the whole decreasing by 6.8%. Particular attention was paid to the organization of work on the disclosure and investigation of serious and particularly serious species. Thus, the detection of serious crimes increased from 63.0 to 65.8%, the most serious – from 92.2 to 94.7%, robbery – from 61.5 to 67.6%, theft of someone else’s property – from 33.7 to 37.8%. Within the framework of the implementation of the departmental program, 13 operational preventive measures were initiated and carried out, including “Skotokradstvo”, “Apartment”, “Sotka”, “Ugon”, “Misdemeanor”. The Maslikhat approved a project on the conclusion of a tripartite agreement on the principle of “shepherd – owner – local executive bodies” and the rules of grazing livestock, which makes it possible to prosecute owners who left their livestock unattended.
M.Urumkhanov dwelled on the issues of combating organized crime, extremism, drug trafficking, as well as improving the material and technical base of the internal affairs bodies.
During the meeting, reports were made by the head of the Local Police Service of the region’s Internal Affairs Department, police colonel M. Kushtibaev, the head of the Alakol ROVD, lieutenant colonel of the subordination A. Abdrakhmanov, the chief of the Ministry of Railways of the Enbekshikazakh police department, the police lieutenant colonel A. Zhunusov.
Lazzat Turlashov, the first deputy akim of the region, said at the meeting that in the current Address of the Head of State, special attention is paid to strengthening the guarantees of the constitutional rights of citizens, ensuring the rule of law, humanizing law enforcement activities, including the introduction of intelligent video surveillance and recognition systems. In this connection, work is in progress on the installation of video cameras. So, in ten administrative centers of regions and cities of the region 766 cameras of external video observation with a conclusion on panels of DVD of area are established, from them 669 – in the city of Taldykorgan. The documentation for the installation of another 550 cameras in the cities of Zharkent, Kapshagai, Kaskelen, Tekeli has been developed.
Also, in order to improve the quality of work in 2017, 11.9 billion tenge was allocated to the internal affairs bodies of the region, including 3.2 billion tenge – to strengthen the material and technical base. In addition, the Center of Cynological Service was built and equipped in the city of Taldykorgan. The internal affairs bodies receive all kinds of support in order to create the necessary working conditions.
The support that has now been provided will be provided continuously. Your task is to use effective measures to reduce crime, improve the quality of preventive work and the level of crime detection. It is important to constantly conduct explanatory and preventive work on the formation of the principle of “zero tolerance” in society. It is necessary to continue activities to reduce the level of road accidents, to take measures to create conditions for the safety of road users. At the end of the meeting, the ceremony of awarding the best police officers on the basis of the work for the year was held. They were awarded with the Honorary Diplomas of the oblast akim, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karelia, the DIA of the region and thank-you letters of the akim of the region. The diploma of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RK region was also handed to Akim of the region A.Batalov.
