IN ASTO EXPO-2017 THE GALA-CONCERT SERIES OF KNK IMKURMANGAZS WILL BE HELD
On August 23, 24 and 25, in Astana, within the framework of the international exhibition EXPO-2017, a series of Gala concerts will take place at the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy.
Three summer musical evenings will be held in the open air, on the stage of the Amphitheater EXPO – the main entertainment venue of the exhibition located in the northwest part of the complex in the park area.
Concert program of the teams of the KNK them. Kurmangazy has an abundance of musical events, where symphonic, choral, wind and folk music will sound in the performance of a constellation of internationally recognized musicians and young talents of the Conservatory.
An unexpected musical gift is prepared by pianist Zhaniya Aubakirova. On the stands is not Bach, but the score for “Harry Potter” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Together with symphonic and folk orchestras of the Conservatory People’s Artist of the RK will perform soundtracks from his favorite films.
The concerts will also be attended by the winner of international music awards, including the prestigious Grammy award by violinist Geza Legoczky (Switzerland). For the first time Astana will be visited by the bright Italian trumpeter Marco Pierofon, impressed by the virtuoso possession of the instrument. Among the invited guests of musical evenings is the singer Karina Abdullina, beloved by Kazakhstan listeners.
Collectives of the Conservatory will demonstrate a multi-genre program – the audience expects unusual musical experiments on the contrast of classical and modern music. The virtuosic processing of masterpieces of world classics and variety will be performed, performed by the Orchestra of Kazakh Folk Instruments.
Guests of the exhibition will hear rarely performed works of Kazakh composers, as well as new arrangements of compositions for chorus, symphonic, folk and brass bands.
The creative design of the stage, the original lighting solution, special video accompaniment will also enhance the musical impressions of listeners.
The beginning of concerts is at 21.30. Entrance to the concerts is included in the entrance ticket price for EXPO-2017.
