Utility tariffs reduced in Almaty region
In Almaty oblast, utility tariffs were reduced as part of the execution of the order of the President of the country, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, given at the meeting on the situation with coronavirus infection and anti-crisis measures on March 23 this year. The Department of the Committee for the Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Almaty region reduced tariffs for the population from April 1 to June 30, 2020, the press service of the akim of Almaty region said.
According to the head of the regional department of energy and housing and communal services Baglan Tanekenov, the following enterprises reduced their services.
GKP Zhetysu Vodokanal:
– the tariff for water supply was reduced from 61.36 tenge to 56.45 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or by 8%;
– for water disposal, the tariff was reduced from 65.29 tenge to 60.08 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or by 8%;
KGP “Taldykorganteploservis” for the population for heat supply services reduced the tariff from 2,826.82 tenge to 2 544.14 tenge per 1 Gcal with VAT and hot water supply reduced the tariff from 183.29 tenge to 164.97 tenge per 1 m3 or 10% ;
Almatygazservice-Holding JSC for gas supply services for the population of the districts of the Almaty region of the Almaty region reduced the tariff from 24.39 tenge to 24.11 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or 1.14%.
GKP “Panfilov su Ubyry” for the population of Zharkent, Panfilov district for water supply services, the tariff was reduced from 68.36 tenge to 61.53 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or 10%;
Services of GKP “Uyyr su Ubyry” for the population p. Chunja of Uyghur region:
– the tariff for water supply was reduced from 59.23 tenge to 53.31 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or 10%;
– for water disposal, the tariff was reduced from 17.36 tenge to 15.57 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or 10%.
Services of Temirzholsu Almaty LLP for the population:
– on heat supply, the tariff was reduced from 3 503.09 tenge to 3 398.0 tenge per 1 Gcal including VAT or by 3%;
– tariff for water supply was reduced from 55.15 tenge to 53.49 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or 3%;
– for water disposal, the tariff was reduced from 16.78 tenge to 16.27 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or 3%.
KGP “Kapshagayzhylu” for the population for heat supply services reduced the tariff from 3 079.85 tenge to 2 833.47 tenge per 1 Gcal including VAT or by 8%;
Thermal Networks LLP for the population of Otegen Batyr, who do not have meters for heat supply services, reduced the tariff from 1,070.05 tenge to 979.09 tenge per 1 m2 including VAT or 8.5%;
For the population of Chapaevo, who do not have metering devices for heat supply services, the tariff has been reduced from 1,084.00 tenge to 1,001.27 tenge per 1 m2 including VAT or 6.8%;
Tauekel-N-Algabas LLP for gas supply services for the population of Karasai district reduced the tariff from 29.37 tenge to 28.79 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or 1.34% and for the population of the Talgar district reduced the tariff from 28.41 tenge up to 27.93 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or by 1.69%.
“Tauekel-gas Ubyry” LLP for gas supply services for the population of Almaty region reduced the tariff from 25.07 tenge to 24.82 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or by 1%.
Zhetisu Gas Ubyry LLP for gas supply services for the population of Almaty Region reduced the tariff from 29.24 tenge to 28.99 tenge per 1 m3 including VAT or by 0.85%.
For the subjects of the public utility company “Sargan su Kybyry” (tariff 67.99 tenge per 1m3 of water and sewage 28.16 tenge per 1m3) and the public utility company “Tekeli su Kybyry” (tariff 43.37 tenge per 1m3 of water and sewage 30.54 tenge per 1m3 ) the validity of the temporary compensation tariff remains until June 30 of this year.
In addition, previously a letter of recommendation was sent to all entities providing utility services not to stop providing regulated services in the housing sector for the period of the state of emergency to consumers for arrears.
