Participation in the solemn event on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the National Security Committee

Among the guests of honor along with the heads of law enforcement and law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments of the republic were heads of delegations of foreign embassies, officials and veterans of foreign special services.
Speaking before the gathered, the President of Kazakhstan especially noted the merits of the employees of the NSC, who gave their lives in the name of preserving peace and stability in the country, and called to honor their memory with a minute of silence. The Head of State expressed his gratitude to the heads of security agencies of the Commonwealth countries for close and fruitful cooperation with their Kazakh partners.
Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized the achievements of Kazakhstan during the years of independence, while noting the contribution of national security officials to the preservation of state sovereignty and the constitutional order.
– We are implementing the strategic program “Kazakhstan-2050”, whose goal is to enter the top thirty of the most developed countries in the world. The key conditions for its successful achievement are peace and tranquility in our environment, as well as internal political stability and harmony in the Kazakh society, “the Head of State said.
The President of Kazakhstan drew attention to the importance of preserving the memory of the struggle of the heroic ancestors for the state independence and territorial integrity of the country.
Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the need to improve the professional skills and abilities of KNB officers to counteract all threats and challenges of the modern world.
– At the beginning of this year, a new structure of the National Security Committee and its departments was approved. The updated system of interaction and balance of forces and resources will allow achieving maximum efficiency. I am confident that the NSC staff will continue to serve the Homeland flawlessly, give all their strength, knowledge and experience for the sake of prosperity of their people and protection of their national interests, “the Head of State said.
At the end of his speech, the President of Kazakhstan awarded orders and medals to the best employees of the national security bodies who showed courage and dedication in the performance of their official duties. For example, E.Kosherbayev (posthumously), A.Sarykulov, medal “For military valor” – D.Bazarbaev, A.Kozhabekov, A.Lukpanov, J.Omariev, A.Tastambekov and E.Koshibekov, E.Usenovwere were awarded with the “Aibyn” Order of the 2nd degree.
At the end of the awarding ceremony, a solemn concert was held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the National Security Committee.
