Work of East Kazakhstanis was marked by state awards
Traditionally, on the eve of the national holiday – Independence Day, the merits of the best compatriots are marked by high state awards. This year, more than 50 East Kazakhstanis were awarded orders and medals for their contribution to the socio-economic and cultural development of the country, for significant achievements in public and social activities.
On behalf of the Head of State Daniyal Akhmetov, akim of the East Kazakhstan region, awarded the highest awards. The Order of Parasat was awarded to the General Director of SemAZ LLP Asemkan Duskuzhanov, as well as the Chairman of the Board of Directors Nikola Popovich. Representatives of the spheres of education, public health, sports and industry were awarded with the order “Kermet”.
