The President received Ma Xingrui, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the CPC of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, Secretary of the CPC Party Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China Ma Xingrui.
The main attention during the conversation was paid to the development of interregional cooperation. Kazakhstan successfully interacts with Xinjiang in many areas, including industry, transport, logistics, agriculture and tourism.
During the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to deepening all-round cooperation with China in the spirit of strategic partnership and eternal friendship. The President noted that an active and trusting political dialogue is maintained between our countries at all levels, and called the PRC one of the key trading partners of Kazakhstan.
In turn, Ma Xingrui thanked Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev for his hospitality and conveyed to him the words of greeting from President Xi Jinping.
Following the meeting, the Head of State stressed that the visit of the leader of Xinjiang to Kazakhstan would give a significant impetus to the further deepening of interregional cooperation and fill it with concrete content.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also conveyed warm congratulations to Xi Jinping on his re-election as the President of the PRC and wished him success.
