The Kazakhstan President took part in an extraordinary session of the CSTO Collective Security Council

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in an extraordinary session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. The event in the form of a videoconference was held at the suggestion of the Republic of Armenia. The summit was also attended by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Secretary General of the CSTO Stanislav Zas. During the session, the results of the work of the CSTO Mission sent to Armenia on September 15, 2022 were discussed. Speaking to the participants of the session, the President of Kazakhstan noted that the conflict should be resolved exclusively by peaceful means and by political and diplomatic means.
