The head of state received Andrey Lavrentiev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Allur Group of Companies

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the company’s work on the development of mechanical engineering, improving the competencies of engineering personnel and attracting foreign investment.
The President was informed about the existing production facilities, which currently employ more than 6,000 Kazakhstanis, and about promising projects. Construction of a new plant for the production of Kia cars will begin in Kostanay together with the South Korean manufacturer Kia Corporation.
Andrey Lavrentiev spoke separately about his work in the field of education. The company has opened training in technical specialties in the state language at the Kostanay College of Road Transport, and now it is working with educational institutions on dual education of students, and the Allur Higher Engineering School has been created.
The head of state stressed the importance of developing domestic engineering, as well as the relevance of improving the skills of local engineering and technical specialists.
