The fleet of ambulance services in Nur-Sultan has increased almost 2.5 times

“We have purchased 114 cars for the ambulance station and the police department. 65 of them have already been handed over to the police, another 14 cars – to the ambulance. By the end of the year, the medical workers of the station will receive 35 more cars. Earlier we gave them over 50 reanimobiles”, said Altay Kulginov, akim of Nur-Sultan .

Thus, in less than a year, the fleet of the ambulance station was increased by almost two and a half times. In December last year, the fleet consisted of 64 cars, now there will be 165.

On behalf of the Head of State, we pay due attention to the renewal and replenishment of the ambulance vehicle fleets, the police department, utilities, public transport, etc.

Since the townspeople first of all call the ambulance, every minute counts. Our health workers have been at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus for months. They have more than one saved life on their account. New reanimobiles are equipped with all the necessary equipment for providing first aid: artificial lung ventilation devices and a set of systems for oxygen inhalation; defibrillator-monitors; electric suction devices; resuscitation and anesthesia monitors with the functions of measuring blood pressure, pulse oximetry, temperature, etc.

Taking into account seasonal diseases and the risks of COVID-19 infection, these vehicles allow better quality assistance to our population. At the peak of the disease, the ambulance received more than three thousand calls daily. An increase in the vehicle fleet by 2.5 times will allow not only to provide assistance faster but also greatly facilitate the work of medical workers. Half a billion tenge was allocated for training physicians in residency, which is almost 300 grants.

Our police officers are guarding the order, their fleet was replenished with 65 cars (previously they received an additional 13 cars). Under the state of emergency, the police department officers were on duty at checkpoints for two months. Both day and night they ensure the observance of law and order. Everything for the safety of residents! ” –  wrote in Instagram Altay Kulginov .

The Astana Motors company, purchased by the akimat, delivered Kazakhstan-assembled cars ahead of schedule, taking into account social responsibility.
