The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan and the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia signed a Working Agreement on cooperation in the field of airworthiness
“The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan is taking part in the international aviation and space salon MAKS-2021. This year Kazakhstan acted as a partner country at the invitation of the Russian side. Today, within the framework of the exhibition, an Working Agreement on cooperation in the field of airworthiness was signed between Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan “and the Federal Air Transport Agency of the Russian Federation. The subject of the Working Agreement is to simplify the procedure for recognizing airworthiness certificates, type certificates and (or) admission to the use of parts and components of aviation equipment, including unmanned aircraft systems without duplication of assessments, testing and checks “, the press service of the MIID RK reports.
The working agreement is aimed at the application of agreed approaches for the approval of the standard design of civil aviation equipment, modifications, the development of repair of aircraft equipment and its components, as well as strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two aviation departments in the field of airworthiness and flight safety. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Oleg Bocharov, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov, the leadership of the Federal Agency for Air Transport of Russia and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan. The parties noted the high level of cooperation at the level of aviation departments and confirmed their mutual interest in its further development and strengthening. Kazakhstani enterprises presented products in the field of military and civil aviation at the MAKS-2021 International Aviation and Space Salon. Prototypes of aircraft, combat systems and experimental installations were presented. Kazakhstan, being a co-organizer of the exhibition, ensured the participation of more than 20 domestic aircraft industrial enterprises at the airshow site. The strategic task is to develop our own production and localization within the country and promote our own developments to foreign markets. The Kazakh side is scheduled to meet with potential partners, as well as to sign a number of agreements and memorandums of cooperation. The 15th International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021 is being held in Zhukovsk, near Moscow, from 20 to 25 July 2021. An exhibition of achievements of the aerospace complex of Russia and a fair of the latest aircraft from the leading countries of the world have been opened at the site of the air show.
