Today in VKO about 23 thousand children for the first time have sat down at school desks
In new academic year the number of first graders has increased by four percent and has exceeded the number of graduates more than twice.
In total in East Kazakhstan there are more than 180 thousand school students. In comparison with last year their number has increased by six and a half thousand.
On Knowledge Day the doors have revealed 664 day comprehensive schools. One more educational institution on 600 places in Kurchatov will be added to the list of the operating institutions to VKO in the nearest future. The building is built for elimination of three-shift education
Nearly 800 preschool institutions of East Kazakhstan are ready to accept children. The coverage of kids preschool education has exceeded 99 percent. It is until the end of the year planned to open 29 more kindergartens, and at the operating gardens additional groups on 540 sets
