This year in the Almaty region it is planned to provide housing for 2 788 people on the waiting list. In general, it is planned to commission 938.8 thousand square meters of housing, including at the expense of budget funds – 131.8 thousand square meters, at the expense of private developers – 77.3 thousand square meters, – the press service of the akim of the Almaty region reports.

According to the regional construction department, this year, construction of 246.2 thousand square meters is underway in the region at the expense of budget funds, the housing of 3,258 apartments (714 residential buildings). By the end of the year, it is planned to put into operation 532 houses with 1,630 apartments with a total area of ​​131.8 thousand square meters. The remaining 182 houses with 1,628 apartments with a total area of ​​114.4 thousand square meters are planned to be commissioned in the first half of 2021.
At the same time, this year it is planned to provide housing for 2 788 people on the waiting list, including under the Nurly Zher programs – 1 245 apartments (1195 – construction, 50 – purchase); “Bakhytty otbasy” – 600 apartments (purchase of secondary and primary housing); “7-20-25” – 467 apartments (65 – credit housing, 402 – commercial); “5-10-20” – 476 apartments (370 – credit housing, 106 – commercial).
