Raimbek Batalov, Chairman of the Presidium of the “Atameken”NCE RK had a speech during the “Perspective directions for business development in new realities” meeting of the Business Council as part of an open dialogue between business circles of the EAEU and partner countries held in Bishkek.
During his speech, the head of the NCE noted that in the current geopolitical conditions, the union faces a number of tasks, for the solution of which it is important to develop new business ties and new models right now.
“We import a huge number of small parts, raw materials, materials from abroad. We need to work out the possibility of domestic production of these goods in our Union,” said Raimbek Batalov.
According to the head of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, in the current conditions it is necessary to follow the path of developing integration into global production chains. It is necessary to gradually change the structure of exports in foreign trade: to reduce the export of raw materials in favor of products with a higher added value.
“The new level of development of the economies of our countries will largely depend on the joint efforts of business and the state and on the right development strategy,” he said.
In such a situation, it is important to maintain and develop cooperation in the implementation of specific projects between the businesses of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
“The course of the New Kazakhstan is mutually beneficial cooperation with partners from the countries of the Union, the removal of remaining restrictions on the development of both bilateral and multilateral cooperation,” Raimbek Batalov emphasized.
