Ways of expansion of business cooperation of Kazakhstan and Austria
17 till October 18, 2016 in the Austrian city of Linz the 4th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Austrian Business Council (KABC) has taken place. From the Kazakhstan side the Head of the union of mechanicians of the Republic of Kazakhstan Meyram Pshembayev, and with Austrian – the Vice-president of economic chamber of Austria Richard Schenz co-chaired.
The Ambassador in Austria Kayrat Sarybay, the First deputy of Akim of the Pavlodar region Duysenbay Turganov participated in work of Business council, and also members of delegation are heads of government institutions, institutes of development, the national companies, associations of businessmen.
Cochairmen M. Pshembayev and R. Shents informed participants of a meeting on a state and prospects of trade and economic relations between two countries. The parties have discussed possibilities of interaction taking into account the program of localization of production and investment incentives in Kazakhstan, further steps on expansion of business cooperation, EXPO-2017, etc.
The representatives of the Pavlodar region and Upper Austria participating in KADS have discussed questions of development of partnership between two regions. Economic opportunities of the Kazakhstan area have been presented to the Austrian side. As a result, between the Pavlodar region and Upper Austria the memorandum of economic cooperation which was signed by D. Turganov and the Minister of Economics of the land Government M. Strugl has been concluded.
Within KADS meeting the delegation of Kazakhstan has visited the Austrian enterprises of a metallurgical cluster of Upper Austria, such as Primetals Technologies, Voestalpine and Engel. Meetings between the Kazakhstan and Austrian companies have taken place.
The meeting of Business council has been dated for Day of export of Upper Austria in which five perspective partner countries of the Austrian earth – Kazakhstan, the USA, Great Britain, India and Iran have taken part. Kazakhstan has been presented at the bottom of export by the integrated stand of Akimat of the Pavlodar region, the Union of mechanicians of Kazakhstan and Kazneskinvest.
The highly topical KADS two-day program has allowed to discuss ways of trade and economic and investment interaction between both states, to present EXPO-2017 and to lay the foundation for development of partnership between the Pavlodar region and Upper Austria.
The federal land Upper Austria which is in the northwest of the country is the leading industrial region of Austria. 30% of all industrial production of the Alpine republic fall to her share.
