Prospects for cooperation between the science foundations of Kazakhstan and the USA

The Kazakhstani delegation, among experts from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, continues to expand and deepen international cooperation in the field of science and new technologies.
At a meeting with representatives of the National Science Foundation (NSF), responsible for the development of science and technology in the United States, contacts were established and discussions were held on effective measures for managing R&D and commercializing technologies.
NSF is the largest independent agency of the US Government that funds research centers and individual investigators. The Foundation supports collaborative research between universities and private companies, international scientific and engineering programs, and education at all levels.
First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Science Foundation Aliya Sembaeva emphasized that such meetings open up new opportunities for interaction, exchange of experience and establishment of strategic partnerships in the field of science and innovation between the two countries.
In addition, the Kazakh delegation plans to visit the Commercialization Offices of George Washington University, Georgetown University, George Mason University, Boston University, meet with Kazakh scientists in the USA, including Bolashak fellows, as well as a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the USA.
