President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev took part in the opening ceremony of the Kurmangazy Children’s Creativity Center in Fizuli

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev took part in the opening ceremony of the Children’s Creativity Center named after the Kazakh composer Kurmangazy.
The modern Innovation Center was built on the initiative of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the shortest possible time as a humanitarian gift to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan from the Kazakh people.
In turn, Ilham Aliyev thanked Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the entire people of Kazakhstan.
The choice of the name Kurmangazy for the new educational complex is also not accidental – it was the legendary works of the outstanding Kazakh kuishi that became the property of the entire Turkic world.
The leaders of the two countries jointly inspected the new offices, classrooms, halls and creative studios of the Children’s Creativity Center.
The laying of the first stone of the facility took place in March 2023. The design was completed in 3 months and construction was completed in 9 months.
The center is located on an area of 1.5 hectares, the total building area is 2,700 square meters. The two-story building has all the necessary conditions for out-of-school education for 600 children in several shifts. There is a lecture hall, a chess class, a culinary class, an art and sculpture studio, a choreography hall and a gym, a recording room, a music and vocal class, photo and video editing rooms, web design and robotics, an assembly hall, and a 3D modeling class. It is planned to pay special attention to IT startups and the national culture of Azerbaijan, including the art of carpet weaving.
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presented the Center staff with a copy of the Kurmangazy dombra and a bus for transporting students of the educational complex.
