Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is on a working trip to Almaty, during a solemn event on Astana Square, congratulated all Kazakhstanis on the bright holiday of Nauryz.
The President noted that from this year Nauryz is celebrated for 10 days, and today is Yntymak Kuni – Solidarity Day.
According to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Nauryz, symbolizing renewal and revival, this year marks a new stage in the development of society. Fundamental values that resonate in the hearts of all citizens have been identified.
Further, the Head of State emphasized that Almaty, which has become the golden cradle of our sovereignty, is now the largest spiritual, scientific and economic center of the country.
In addition, the President spoke about the implementation of 4 large-scale projects. In particular, it is necessary to modernize a number of heating plants and utility networks, build and repair 12 thousand kilometers of roads. This year, 300 thousand people will be provided with natural gas. A new housing program will be launched for residents of villages and districts. According to the Head of State, the loan rate for citizens from socially vulnerable segments of the population will be no more than 7 percent. The number of rental housing will increase significantly.
