At a meeting of the Council of Heads of the CIS State, in an expanded session, along with the President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan President Sadir Zadarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon, took part , President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The heads of state discussed the priority areas of activity of the organization, as well as plans for the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.

The meeting was performed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko; Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS member states, chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matvienko.

During the event, the Deputy Secretary General of the CIS Ilhom Nematov was awarded the Order of Friendship, and the General Director of the TASS news agency Andrei Kondrashov, the diploma of the CIS.

According to the results of the CIS summit, a number of documents were adopted.
