The head of state – Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the participants of the ceremony on Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day. He noted that these holidays represent the continuity between the older generation, who defended the Motherland in the trials of the past, and the generation of soldiers of an independent state.
As the President emphasized, increasing the defense capability, strengthening the national security system, ensuring the rule of law and law and order are the unshakable priorities of our country.
Then the President thanked all compatriots who ensure the stability and security of our state.
The head of state conferred military and special ranks, class ranks on officers and presented state awards to a number of citizens for courage and impeccable service.
– Dear officers and soldiers! I congratulate you on the awards and conferred titles and ranks! Our sacred duty and high honor is to be faithful to the oath, to serve the state and the people with dignity, – the President addressed the audience at the end of his speech.
