The governor of Almaty Bauyrzhan Baybek ,during the working visit, went to the first service-oriented front offices built at the correctional institution and the district police department.

The first such front office appeared at a penal institution on Krasnogorskaya street. Previously, relatives and lawyers had to stand outside the entrance to the institution for several hours, unable to use the restroom; there was no waiting room or storage rooms. The launch of the front office with a single checkpoint will reduce the waiting time from 2-3 hours to 20 minutes and reduce the risk of the possibility of carrying prohibited items.

“Today we are working to create infrastructure conditions in Almaty. As the Head of State says, there must be accountability, transparency and service-orientedness. We, as a local executive body, are seeking funds, together with the prosecutor’s office and the police are working on digitalization in order to eliminate the human factor and corruption. Those who depart here, they should be in normal conditions. When their relatives, lawyers come, then everything should be convenient. Now they will not stand on the street, an electronic queue has appeared. Three bus routes have been extended to the establishment, and landscaping of the adjacent territory will be done in the spring, ”said Bauyrzhan Baybek.

During the working visit, the Almaty governor also examined the first round-the-clock police front office in Turksib district. As part of the fulfillment of the instructions of the Head of State to introduce new modern formats of work with the population, additional funds were allocated from the local budget of the city for the construction of front police offices in all areas of the city.

According to the head of the police department, Serik Kudebaev, the front office will allow citizens to avoid waiting on the street, passing several checkpoints and walking around the offices. It is planned that the procedure for accepting applications and other formalities will take no more than 15-20 minutes. Here the procedural prosecutor will be constantly present.

On the same day, Bauyrzhan Baybek checked the fifth branch of the specialized PSC for motorists, which opened on the basis of the Zhetysu-Semirechye trading house. Since over the past few years, the load on the Almaty Special Services has increased 5 times, before this, the city’s executive committee decided to create additional offices in Zhetysu and Nauryzbay districts.

It should be mentioned that earlier governor of Almaty Bauyrzhan Baybek at the Public Council indicated seven directions for ensuring security in the city. Among them are the logistical equipment of the police, digitalization, security of public spaces, the fight against the “shadow economy”, emergency prevention, road safety and preventive work to eliminate the systemic conditions of crime.
