Over 163 billion tenge paid to Kazakhstanis in the form of benefits for disability and loss of breadwinner From January to May 2021
128.8 billion tenge was allocated from the republican budget for the payment of state social benefits for disability, and 34.4 billion tenge in the event of the loss of a breadwinner.
As of June 1, 2021, the number of recipients of state social benefits for disability is 528 thousand people, in the event of the loss of a breadwinner – 171 thousand people. The size of state social benefits for disability depends on the group and cause of disability, as well as on the size of the subsistence minimum established by the law “On the Republican Budget” for the corresponding financial year. The size of state social benefits in case of loss of a breadwinner depends on the number of dependents of the deceased (deceased) breadwinner, as well as on the size of the subsistence minimum established by the law “On the Republican Budget” for the corresponding financial year. As of June 1, 2021, the average size of state social benefits for disability amounted to 49 338 tenge, state social benefits in case of loss of a breadwinner – 40 865 tenge.
