New 13-storey student dormitory put into operation in Taldykorgan
Today in Taldykorgan a new multi-story building of a hostel for students for 288 places has been commissioned. This object was built as part of the implementation of the Five Social Initiatives of Elbasy. The construction was started last year, for these purposes 2.3 billion tenge was spent from the regional budget. Akim of the region Amandyk Batalov took part in the opening ceremony of the facility, – the press service of the akim of the Almaty region reports.
The unfinished building in the Karatal m.d. of Taldykorgan acquired a new look on behalf of the regional akim. During the year, instead of an abandoned construction site, a new 13-storey hostel with a special architectural form was built. Now the object is provided for ZhSU named by I. Zhansugurov’s students. This helps to improve the living conditions of students and improve the quality of education.
At the opening ceremony of the hostel, A. Batalov, akim of the region congratulated all those present and expressed good wishes to the youth.
– Today, as part of the Five Social Initiatives of Elbasy, we are opening a new hostel. I consider it a great gift for Zhetysu students. The building was designed by Akmyrza Rustembekov, the late architect. I hope that the new hostel will become a cozy home for young people. All the necessary conditions for a comfortable stay have been created for students here. “Learn, learn, develop! May all your dreams and innermost desires come true!” – said the regional akim.
He also expressed his sincere gratitude for the high-quality work and professionalism of the construction team of the Astana Kurylys NSC company.
During the event, Kuat Baimyrzayev, the rector of ZhSU after I. Zhansugurov and Madina Turdash, the Speaker of the Student Parliament, 4th year student of the Faculty of Law and Economics also thanked the leadership of the country and the region for significant support and care for the young generation.
After the opening ceremony, the guests visited the building, examined the library, cinema, workroom, recreation room, dining room, living room. The “Bolashak Books” corner was presented to the visitors. The student house has all the necessary conditions for the training and recreation of students, the classrooms are equipped with the appropriate equipment. So far, 13 students have been settled here from among the pupils of the “Ainalayin” orphanage , as well as from remote settlements.
It should be noted that by the end of the year 3 dormitories will be commissioned for students of medical and polytechnic colleges for 280 and 200 places in Taldykorgan, as well as for the Bastobinsky service and shadow college, located in the Bastobe village of the Karatal region for 50 places.
