“Kazakhfilm” announced the winners of the script competition
The creative and production association “Debut” at the “Kazakhfilm” film studio named after S.Aymanov announced the winners of the script of short films. Several dozens of submitted works were considered. Among them, TVET “Debut” chose five. These are: “Priadki” of Kairzhanova Venus, “Tyubeteyka” by Baymuratov Arman, “Tolerance” by Rahmetaliev Alain, “Forgiveness” by Zhakhanov Berik, and also “Jute” Zhylysbayeva Ardak.
Bekbulat Shekerov, Co-Chairman of the Expert Council of JSC “Kazakhfilm”, described how the process of selecting scenarios for screening was going:
– We selected five scenarios. All of them will be launched in production this year. Directors of these films will be the authors themselves. In addition to the script “Jute”. We want this scenario to offer the young director – Espenbetov Zhandos. Such an experiment at TVET “Debut” has not been practiced for a long time.
