Laureate of international competitions, pianist-virtuoso Maxim Zekini will perform works by Massenet, Ravel, Verdi, Schulhof, Bellini and other outstanding composers. The concert is organized by the A. Kasteev Museum, together with the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan and the French Alliance of Almaty.

Maxim Zekini was born in Paris in 1979. He graduated from the Higher National Conservatory in Lyon in the class of Geri Mutier and Daniel Reno-Fascel. Later, he passed the “Improvement Cycle” in the class of Jean-Francois Heisser at the Higher Paris National Conservatory.
Zekini is the first French pianist to graduate from the prestigious international music academy Incontri col Maestro in the city of Imola (Italy). Maxim is a laureate of the Blaystein-Blanche Vocation Award, the Meyer Foundation, and the patronage of Societe Générale; winner of the Arcachon International Competition, laureate of the Forum Normandy Prize, laureate of the Citrea Foundation, laureate of the Ragusa-Ible Competition in Sicily, and in 2003 he was unanimously awarded the main prize at the Varennes-Lac como international competition in Italy.
The pianist performs at the best concert stages in Paris and France – the Gaveau Hall, the Chatelet Theater, the Corte Theater, the Marigny Theater, as well as abroad – in Italy, Austria, Germany, Great Britain, South Korea, China, Japan, India, South Africa and other countries. .
Maxim Zekini is called an “eclectic musician” – he is engaged in orchestrating music for television, making musicals and concerts with singer Julia Migenes. He collaborated with actress Anuk Eme, giving “concerts-lectures”. Composer’s art has attracted him since his youth, and he created a number of original musical works and treatments that were produced by Editions Durand-Salabert-Universal Music.
