More than 18.4 thousand young people without education will receive relevant professions
Within the framework of the “Enbek” State Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship, 18.4 thousand school graduates of 9-11 classes who did not enroll in educational institutions, as well as young people who do not have professional education, including orphans, persons with disabilities, members of large and low-income families were given the opportunity to undergo free training in professions in demand on the labor market.
The project “Free vocational-technical education (hereinafter referred to as TVE) for all” has been implemented since 2017, and will last until 2021.
Since September 1, 2020, more than 18 thousand young people have been sent to study, including 14.2 thousand people on the basis of the 9th grade, and 4.2 thousand people on the basis of the 11th grade. Of these, 4.9 thousand people are members of large families, 5.3 thousand people are members of low-income families, 1.3 thousand people are graduates of previous years, 414 orphans, 233 disabled people, and 6.3 thousand people are young people. categories (unemployed, boarding school children, NEET youth).
Personnel training is carried out in 370 TVE organizations according to 171 qualifications determined on the basis of the list of qualifications and specialties in terms of training periods and levels of education according to the classifier of specialties and qualifications of technical and vocational, post-secondary education.
The duration of training with TVE depends on the chosen specialty and qualifications in accordance with the terms specified in the educational programs (up to 3 years).
The lists of participants were formed by 2,062 mobile groups, on the basis of applications from departments for the coordination of employment and social programs, regional chambers of entrepreneurs “Atameken”. The emphasis on staff training is carried out in the following areas: energy, construction, transport, installation, operation, and repair by industry, agriculture, communications, telecommunications, information technology, service, etc.
The main differences between the training of personnel with TVE within the framework of the project are the completely free education provided, the use of a dual model of training, training is carried out only in working qualifications and specialties, and all participants will be provided with a scholarship in the amount of 21,787 tenge, one-time meals, and travel.
To improve the competitiveness and quality of trained personnel, training consists of 40% theoretical studies, and 60% of practical training. For this, educational organizations conclude agreements with large enterprises and organizations. In turn, the enterprises provide jobs for the Program participants and assign mentors to them.
Upon completion of training, graduates will be provided with measures to promote employment. For this, educational organizations send lists of those who completed their studies to the employment centers and RPP “Atameken”. In addition, after training, program participants are entitled to receive government grants for the implementation of business ideas in the amount of 200 MCI.
