The largest developer of Qatar is studying the possibility of investing in Almaty

Akim of Almaty Bauyrzhan Baibek met with the chairman of the Association of Qatar businessmen, the chairman of the board of Faisal Holding Sheikh Faisal Ben Kasim Al-Thani. The sides discussed issues of development of bilateral investment relations in the spheres of tourism, construction and hotel business.
Al Faisal Holding is the largest holding company in Qatar, which plays a key role in the development of the country’s economy and is one of the leading commercial structures in the Middle East.
Qatar delegation was acquainted with the main socio-economic indicators of Almaty and projects implemented in the field of tourism, infrastructure development, as well as the potential of the Industrial Zone in the Alatau District.
“Almaty is a rapidly developing metropolis, which opens up great opportunities for investment. The city is located at the foot of the mountains, there is a wonderful climate, a peculiar culture, so we are interested in projects in the field of tourism and real estate. After Almaty, we plan to visit Astana and hope to reach concrete agreements on the results of the trip, “said Shaykh Faisal bin Qasim Al-Thani.
