Kazakhstanis were paid more than 130 billion tenge in disability and bereavement benefits
From January to April 2021, 102.8 billion tenge was allocated from the national budget for the payment of state social benefits for disability, 27.4 billion tenge in case of loss of a breadwinner.
As of May 1, 2021, the number of recipients of state social benefits for disability is 525.1 thousand people, in the event of loss of a breadwinner – 169.6 thousand people.
The amount of state social benefits for disability depends on the group and cause of disability, as well as the size of the subsistence minimum established by the law “On the Republican Budget” for the relevant financial year.
The amount of state social benefits in the event of loss of a breadwinner depends on the number of dependents of the deceased (deceased) breadwinner, as well as the size of the subsistence minimum established by the Law “On the Republican Budget” for the relevant financial year.
As of May 1, 2021, the average amount of state social benefits for disability was 49,150 tenge, the average amount of state social benefits for loss of a breadwinner was 40,653 tenge.
