Kazakhstan will help improve the pricing system in construction in Uzbekistan

“The Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Uzbekistan is negotiating with the Kazakh Research and Design Institute of Construction and Architecture (KazNIISA) on the development of a concept to improve the pricing system,” the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.

An online meeting with the participation of representatives of authorized state bodies in the field of construction took place on August 2, 2021.During the meeting, the parties agreed that the specialists of KazNIISA JSC will develop for Uzbekistan a collection of “Uniform estimated prices for construction and installation works of buildings”.

As part of the modernization of the system, a comparative analysis of the pricing system in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will be carried out, a methodology for a system for collecting information on building materials, services and equipment will be developed.A building material classifier will also be developed, which will be linked to the BIM classifier.

“Kazakhstan began to modernize the pricing system in construction in 2015, which continues to this day. At present, the country uses the resource method for the construction of facilities using public investment, which determines the cost of construction products using current prices for materials and labor resources. At the moment, work is underway to improve the structure of the estimate collections, which will become object-oriented, “said Begman Kulbaev, General Director of KazNIISA JSC.

The head of KazNIISA assured that Kazakhstani specialists will share with their colleagues from Uzbekistan successful cases, which were obtained in the course of many years of work in the field of improving the pricing system.

As a result of the event, it was decided to hold a series of meetings with specialized organizations of the two countries, as well as create a single ideological center that will coordinate the process of improving the pricing system in the construction of Uzbekistan.
