Kazakhstan and Belarus will compare prices for construction at the state level

The countries plan to develop an interstate standard for comparing the cost of construction projects. There will also be defined 100 pricing building materials, which will be continuously monitored and compared. A general analysis of prices will be required for the participation of Kazakhstan and Belarus in joint construction projects.

The corresponding agreement was reached during a video conference with the participation of the Republican Scientific and Technical Center for Pricing in Construction (RSTC, Belarus) and the Kazakh Research and Design Institute of Construction and Architecture (KazNIISA JSC). Both organizations oversee issues of pricing and information modeling at the state level. The experts agreed to conduct a comparative analysis of Kazakhstani and Belarusian standard projects, technological maps and study approaches to the formation of a pricing system and the introduction of information modeling. “In Belarus, as well as in Kazakhstan, there is a state fund of these standard projects.

Projects are updated in Kazakhstan every 3 years, and in Belarus every 5 years. By comparing the standard projects of our countries, we could expand the funds of these standard projects of our states, ”believes Gennady Purs, director of the Russian Science and Technology Center. In turn, Alexander Shakhnovich, Managing Director for Development and Digitalization of KazNIISA JSC, suggested using the most similar standard school projects for comparative analysis and comparing technical and economic indicators.

During the conference, issues of the application of Eurocodes were also discussed, the parties also exchanged experiences in the field of application of information modeling in construction. Alexander Shakhnovich said that Kazakhstan has already developed a regulatory framework for the implementation of information modeling, work is actively underway to digitize standards and automate the verification of information models, and the Republic plans to develop pilot projects using information modeling at all stages of construction in cities of republican significance: Nur- Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent.

In turn, Gennady Purs noted that Belarusian specialists create information models for already constructed buildings, which are later used in the housing and utilities sector. As a result of the event, Kazakhstani and Belarusian specialists also agreed to hold a number of meetings on the practical application of Eurocodes, estimated rationing and provide proposals for 100 price-forming building materials.
