Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Margareta Sederfelt

Welcoming Margareta Sederfelt, the Head of State noted that her visit is important from the point of view of strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
Kazakhstan President emphasized that parliamentary diplomacy helps to build bridges between countries and peoples, and also spoke about the implementation of large-scale political and economic reforms.
In turn, Margareta Sederfelt expressed support for the ongoing reforms in Kazakhstan and noted that the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly is watching with particular interest the progress of the systemic transformation of the main political institutions.
In addition, key issues on the agenda of the upcoming Astana International Forum (AIF) were considered. The interlocutors also discussed topical issues of the regional and global agenda.
