At the Kazakhfilm studios named after Sh.Aimanov, the work on the feature film “Shynyrau” (“Abyss”) was completed, commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The director-director and the author of the script was Zhanabek Zhetiruov.

The painting, shot according to the story of Abish Kekilbaev “The Well”, will tell the story of the pitcher Ensep and describe the problems that are important for the life of many people: rivalry, arrogance, love, friendship, betrayal.

I am confident that the artistic scenery, costumes and props from the ethnographic life of Kazakhs, romantic scenes against the beautiful landscape, scenes with animals, the Caspian Sea, the pristine corners of Mangistau region will not leave indifferent the spectators, “the director of the film said.

The film was shot in Mangistau oblast: on the Ustyurt plateau, in the village of Kanga near Fort Shevchenko and on the coast of the Caspian Sea. The main roles in the film were performed by the actors Asylkhan Tolepov, Aldabek Shalbayev and Aizhan Zhetiru.
