Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Robert Yuksel Yildirim, the President and CEO of Yildirim Holding Group of Companies

At the meeting, the prospects for the implementation of a number of joint investment projects in the chemical industry in Kazakhstan were discussed.
Robert Yuksel Yildirim informed the Head of State about the construction of a plant for the production of soda ash in the Sarysu district of the Zhambyl region in the amount of $400 million.
In addition, the Turkish businessman spoke about the implementation of an investment project for the extraction and production of chromium concentrate at the Voskhod deposit in the Aktobe region, as well as joint work with Kazgeology JSC on the exploration of solid minerals in a number of regions of the country.
Following the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the importance of developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkey and expressed support for the company’s investment activities in Kazakhstan.
