Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a mttting with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani
Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
During the meeting, prospects for the development of Kazakh-Qatari relations were discussed. Particular attention was paid to expanding trade and economic cooperation, including the implementation of joint investment projects in key sectors of the economy.
The interlocutors considered interaction within the framework of international organizations, and also exchanged views on topical issues of the regional agenda.
The head of state welcomed the holding of the first meeting of the dialogue platform of the heads of the foreign ministries of the states of Central Asia and the Persian Gulf, which will be held in Riyadh in September.
Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani conveyed to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev the greetings of the Emir of Qatar and confirmed his arrival in Kazakhstan in the near future
