President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his convincing victory in the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The head of our state called the results of the vote a vivid evidence of popular support for the course of the Uzbek leader, aimed at ensuring sustainable growth, stability and prosperity of the state.
During the conversation, the President of Kazakhstan confirmed his commitment to further deepening Kazakh-Uzbek relations in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance.
The heads of state exchanged views on the practical implementation of the agreements previously reached at the highest level, and also considered the schedule of upcoming bilateral events.
