Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Vahagn Khachaturyan attended the opening ceremony of the Days of Armenian Culture in Kazakhstan

The presidents attended a gala concert on the occasion of the opening of the Days of Armenian Culture, which was held at the Kazakh National Music and Drama Theater named after Kalibek Kuanyshbayev.
Before the event, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Vahagn Khachaturyan viewed a photo exhibition in the theater foyer dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great Armenian film director and artist Sergei Parajanov. The concert featured works by world-famous Armenian composers Komitas, Charles Aznavour, Georges Garvarents and Arno Babajanyan performed by the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia and masters of arts Inga Arshakyan, Gor Sujyan.
In addition, Days of Armenian Cinema will be held in Astana from October 15 to 16. And the Sos Sargsyan Hamazgayin Theatre will present to the capital’s residents the play “Lyu-Bef”, based on the works of Daniil Kharms.
