In the Almaty region, it is planned to complete the construction of about 30 tourism objects by the end of the year
By the end of the year, it is planned to complete the construction of 27 tourism facilities in the Almaty region in the amount of 4.2 billion tenge, a total of 14 tourist infrastructure facilities have been commissioned with the attraction of private investments in the amount of 1,081 million tenge, – the press service of the akim of Almaty region reports.
According to the regional department of tourism, according to the results of the first half of 2020, 795 objects for receiving tourists function in the region, compared with the corresponding period of last year, an increase of 4% was achieved.
This year, the region also plans to complete the construction of 27 tourism facilities in the amount of 4.2 billion tenge. 14 objects of tourist infrastructure were put into operation with the attraction of private investments in the amount of 1081 million tenge. Including 1 object in the Zhambyl region, on the coast of Lake Alakol – 13 objects for receiving tourists, the number of private investments – 1061 million tenge. The number of visitors served by accommodation facilities amounted to 421.9 thousand people or 54% over the same period of the last year. Paid tourist and health-improving services were rendered in the amount of 3621 million tenge or 63% to the level of the last year.
In addition, on the territory of the mountain cluster, the implementation of long-term large investment projects for the construction of “Aport” and “Ak Bulak” mountain resorts in Talgarskiy, “Turgen” in Enbekshikazakhskiy and the “Park Canyon” entertainment complex in Raiymbekskiy districts totaling 542.7 billion tenge of private investment. At the same time, on the coast of Alakol Lake, it is planned to implement a project of a cottage town with a summer amphitheater “Alakol Apartments” worth 4 billion tenge.
It is important to note that now, in a pandemic, all regional tourist facilities adhere to 80% of the load and strict adherence to all necessary sanitary and epidemiological standards and requirements.
